As much as the Red/White series has become tradition, so has the bad weather that usually occurs in Plattsburgh that weekend! We were able to get two games in on Friday, with Coach Butler's team winning one game and Manager Eric Gissendanner's team winning the other. Saturday the team opted to play through the rain and was able to get five innings in, with Gissendanner's team capturing the mythical championship.
More impressive is what occurred following the game - as a large number of players did head first slides into the mud between first and second base. From our seniors to our newcomers I thought it was a tremendous sign of what a close-knit group of guys we have this year.
